Playing devil's advocate (where's Woolley when you need him:)), I don't know that many people who take a 2-3 day ultrasound course will be able to diagnose duodenal atresia, let alone an AV canal -----Original Message----- From: ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net [mailto:ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net] On Behalf Of art fougner, md Sent: Friday, January 27, 2006 9:15 PM To: Multiple recipients of list OB-GYN-L Subject: Re: OB U/S training? Both duodenal atresia and av canal both have quite a high association with Down's. as many as 50% of the children born with av canal will have Down's. Not quite pathognomonic but spider senses will definitely be tingling. art

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
