Start Date for needing the recerts was 1987. I was in the first group to require recerts. I did teh written recert in 1997 and now need to sign up for the yearly re-certs. I *think* I would rather do that than do another grueling 6 day review course (10 hours per day) then 1 day off then take the written! That is what I did in 1997.

I guess I better make that a priority in what I do tomorrow!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
