The one problem I find with the PK is sticking and charring when I get down to the uterine arteries

I don't like the Ligasure. I find the Gyrus PK much, much better. It holds better, and seems to coagulate better too. I also find their bipolar needle great for amputation the cervix for LSH's.

I have done a few LAVH's using the Ligasure for the utero-ovarian ligaments and round ligaments. I was not really impressed - it sure took more time than just doing it straight from below.

On Both of them I did the L/S because of anticipation of endometriosis - so that tcould be treated. One had it and one did not.

But I found the ligasure to be a hassle. It sure didn't work as nicely as I expected.

What have others found and is there a better L/S piece of equipment to do the utero-ovarians?
