Sounds like it might be worth using in the occasional patient who has a good story but no ferning is identifiable. One step to do before amniocentesis and injection of indigo carmine, but how often do you need that? I wonder what it costs??

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
