The woman's right to choose does not nullify the provider's right to choose what he/she is willing to do. The woman has a right to homebirth, but not necessarily from that midwife. I most recently made that argument in reference to primary ECS. It should not be forbidden, but no individual physician should be required to provide it.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
