THAT'S what I said. So there you have it. We have a philosophic debate which has so far been largely clouded up by immaterial argument, emotional (not factual) "statistics", and class warfare.

Shall we have a vote?

All those in favor of homebirth, accepting the occasional catastrophe to avoid interventions which may cause morbidity and inconvenience, raise their mouses.

All those in favor of hospital birth, accepting the possibility of an unnecessary c-section due to false positive fetal monitor distress, etc., and the attendant morbidity, raise their trackpads.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
