You are correct. I can't find a post of mine on Quad vs first trimester risk assessment vs integrated screen.....not under this topic, at least. As you have stated, integrated screening has greatest sensitivity and specificity. We offer it to our patients. At Yale, women can have their blood work done prior to their nuchal thickness, and get a result on the spot. They may then elect AFP or full 2nd trimester analysis of risk. It does get complicated when we discuss this!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
