Re: NovasureFrom: Henry Gregor (henrygregor@yahoo.com)Tue Nov 22 13:32:24 2005
Re Novasure use...have used it and found it very satisfactory in terms of ease of operator use, patient postop experience and results over up to two years followup currently...antitrust regs prevent discussion of reimbursements. (You know, our carefully concerned federal watchdogs want to protect the publice from collusive and mendacious md's....only humongous third party organizations have the latitude to compile huge directories of regional charge patterns....guess they must all be benevolent organziations dedicated to providing the best of care to patients at lowest profit levels to themselves and thus are accorded that much more latitude)....uh, yeah, right. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
