Actually, it wasn't in Florida, it was in New Haven, CT (which is why it was in the New Haven paper). It was a very complex case that went on for years. There was evidence....the path slides. There were differences in opinion amongst various pathologists re the types of abnormalities on the slides.

I forget all the details, but I think the initial slides (which were perhaps frozen sections) indicated a rare, but virulent type of uterine cancer.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
