If I said ductal it was unintentional. I believe the woman in discussion had invasive LOBULAR carcinoma not ductal. Invasive lobular is 5-10% and ductal which is more common is 80%. Mamms have more difficulty in picking up on lobular than ductal because loublar does not form a mass as readily and does not have the typical early calcification pattern. agf

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
