I have cared for one pprom at 17 weeks that went to term and resulted in a healthy baby. Mom would not allow any interventions and said "Leave it in God's hands." Of course, pt needs to be informed of risk of infection, amniotic bands, etc. etc. if she decides to try to carry to term.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
