Sorry to here about your patient, I know you care for them like your own children. The only maternal death I have personally witnessed was about 24 years ago, severe pre-eclamptic transferred after delivery at another hospital, hemorrhaged and died from a ruptured liver. We couldn't keep up with her blood loss and couldn't control the bleeding.
