Something InterestingFrom: Anna Meenan, MD (annam@uic.edu)Tue Sep 27 22:38:54 2005
WHI--Excess Morbidity due to combined HRT: 7/10,000 CHD events, 8/10,000 strokes, 8/10,000 PE, 8/10,000 invasive breast CA 2005 Meta-analysis of 19 RCT's involving 135,967 patients taking 400 IU or more of vitamin E qd: 39/10,000 excess all-cause MORTALITY. Did I miss all the headlines and talk shows, etc. earlier this year? (sorry, I was busy retiring and just now getting around to catching up on that stack of journals).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
