I have hired two in the past year, both boarded and with 3-4 years of experience in the military for $210,000/year for a two year guarantee. Then they become partners and go into the pot with the rest of us. 220 seems pretty high for someone right out of training.

Listers, I have been entertaining adding a partner to my practice. In the conversations with residents pending completion of their training next July, I have been surprised to note that they are asking for $220 to $230K as a starting salary...

Are they delusional or am I??? Lynn

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
