I guess the biggest problem in these situations is if they go unrecognized. I guess there was no missing what happened in your wife's case. That must have been a hard thing for you to see. Did she have any subsequent problems? The OB I was working with also did not cut the sphincter for the repair.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
