Re: Uterine perforation case opinionsFrom: Charlie Chambers (ricechaz@gorge.net)Tue Aug 30 23:06:08 2005
Wow, that's a very nicely done case presentation. Very well done. I don't think that too many of us will have anything more than personal opinion to give to you. So, for what's worth, here's mine. I think that I would be hesitant to proceed with any kind of surgical correction. At this late date, and after a recent infection, I'd be concerned that further intervention would merely by placing the patient and uterus at risk. I would be concerned about future pregnancies. Would want an early u/ s to check implantation. I personally, would be hesitant to have a trial of labor. Just my hunch on all of the above. On Aug 30, 2005, at 8:51 PM, Hugo D Ribot Jr wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
