I treat all “unknown GBS status” regardless of gestational age. I do culture patients with previous + GBS – It’s always good to know present status … same way as with patients with + GBS in urine early in pregnancy – I do reculture urine – even though I will treat them anyhow – and in that last approach I agree with CDC…
