Why? That is a great question...and should be patented. However she may want to use something like Hurricaine gel or Lidocaine jelly before intercourse if she wants to last longer. I think the Hurricaine gel would taste better in the case of oral sex.

Listmembers: I have a 40ish multigravida patient who complains that for the past 5 years she achieves orgasm within 3-5 seconds of digital or oral clitoral stimulation. The last time she and her husband were together she counted, and after 5 seconds, that was it. It feels "normal" in that she is satisfied with the results, although it bothers her that afterwords she becomes disinterested in further sexual activity and would rather "just go to sleep." After I check chromosomes to make sure she is not a guy, I would like to offer some help :)

I know this is a form of female sexual dysfunction, but can't find anything from a literature search. She takes no meds, has no known medical or surgical problems, does not have spontaneous (non-stimulated) orgasms, and does not masturbate. Thanks for your input.

Ashley

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
