Gail-- I do not think terbutaline after 35 weeks is indicated. I would not categorize her UC pattern as hyperstimulation--they are now about q 2-3 minutes without any cervical change. She says they "may" be a little milder now. I've gone ahead and given her Morphine (15 mg IM) and Phenergan (25 mg) hoping she will rest tonight and either go into labor or go home in the morning. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
