preventing adhesionsFrom: Diane C (tdrcaste@yahoo.com)Thu Apr 21 08:27:11 2005
A year ago, at the prompting of my father who bemoaned not having one child "invent" or patent anything, I decided, I would invent a surfactant so to say, an abdominal "wash" which would prevent adhesions but the surgical site, through a process, would not be prevented from healing/sealing. I spoke to someone, and they said, it was an excellent idea, but "find out what has been developed" to date. To my great dissappointment, it has already been developed, anyone ever use an agent such as this? Any experiences you want to share? Thanks, Diane

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
