I follow the RCOG logic that the only reason to use any tocolytic is to buy some time for steroids. Any of the Beta stimulators will do for that. Any way, the recommendation these days is to use Atosiban or a calcium channel blocker such as Nifedipine rather than a beta stimulator for that purpose. And not to continue after the steroids have been given.
