I was at a hospital quality meeting this morning and someone said that ACOG has recently come out and said fetal pulse ox may not be a reliable tool in light of a recent "Cochran study". anybody know anything about this? I have found pulse ox to be very helpful. andrew.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
