not hard ... place the transducer so that the pubic bone shadow becomes
a landmark in long axis. then using a variant of the British style
"fifths method", estimate how much of the head is above that pubic
shadow. gives a far better estimate of true station than the ischial
spines.
of course just my opinion ... i could be wrong.
