Skin changes in pregnancyFrom: Elrod Darryl G MAJ 48 MDOS/SGOBO (Darryl.elrod@LAKENHEATH.AF.MIL)Wed Mar 30 04:00:11 2005
I'm looking for advice on treatment of skin changes during pregnancy. Particularly, I'm seeing a lot more women with what appears to be acne during pregnancy as well as more women with complaints of dry flaky skin. I'm not sure if it is a change from cold climate in Alaska to the more moderate temperatures of England, but I don't remember nearly this much before. Does anyone have any favorite topical treatments for the treatment of these two disorders? I just feel bad saying it is "just due to the pregnancy" Thanks, Glen

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
