Re: interesting case, twins, 19 weeks, PPROM etcFrom: Anna Meenan, MD (annam@uic.edu)Thu Mar 17 08:46:25 2005
Oh well, you tried, and a perinatologist would not have been able to save them either. And I know interesting stuff happens in the boonies. From our outreach clinic in a town half the size of yours, we had a pt who spent a month( from 26-30 wks gestation) in the hospital with e.coli pyelo/sepsis with ARDS. She's home now and we just got her urine culture results back. She's now growing VRE.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
