I know our perinatologists would refuse the transfer--we have a hard time getting them to accept at 23-24 weeks. They want the patient thoroughly counseled re the possible outcomes for the baby and want the patient to have already committed to having all interventions/resuscitation, etc done. Lenora McCall, CNM

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
