No Anna - your instincts are good - there's not much else to offer at 18+ wks gestation. moreover, is the referral center committed to hospitalization for the duration? if so - this woman, given her previous history, will doubtless sign out if and when the spirit moves her. and if not, where will this woman go after discharge? would she report regularly for outpatient assessment? surely these issues need addressing prior to any referral - no matter how much better the chart appears. art

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
