Malpractice lawsuit with deadly consequences

So now in Illinois, apparently, if a doctor takes a tumor off your jaw and you don't like how the scar looks, you sue the doctor, and when the judge rules in the doctor's favor, you kill the judge's husband and mother. This was apparently the motivation for the murder of Judge Lefkow's family, anyway, according to the suicide note left by the killer. Very sad case. Will this be an incentive to keep frivolous suits out of the courtroom in the first place?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
