I have no doubt that this happens to many of you guys out there. I've been in practice since 1986--one year in Jacksonville, FL, then Atlanta, GA area (the suburbs)

Today I saw patients in the AM only--around 12, give or take. 5 probably totalled 75+ years of patient care, i.e.

33 YO P0, 25 weeks, who lives 20+ miles away in the city, and passes 2 major medical centers on the way to my place. I've seen her through college, early professional career, a few lapscopes for endo. I see several friends and employees of hers from near and far. Routine Ob visit.

45+ P4004, on whom I've done 4 sections and a TAH, since 1987. The oldest is a high school senior. Annual examination.

42 YO P2002, RN, who has a 16 year old and a 12 year old that I've delivered. Annual examination.

45 YO 3012 who has an 18 year old college freshman (not my delivery), but I delivered her 12 YO term IUFD and a 10 year old daughter who has some type of brain problem/delayed development such that she has the mentality of a 4 year old. She was in for an annual examination. Lives 45 minutes away past at least 2 hospitals/medical centers and goes to church with. . .

46 YO 2102 who has a high school senior I didn't deliver (my partner in Jacksonville did), and a 15 year old I did deliver here. Paragard-T changed.

Garry :)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
