Well, always, late, 2 successful VBAC's, Under 42 weeks(considered normal), cervix is nice, according to studies induction increasing chance of uterine rupture. What would the discussion include other than routine post-dates testing that this client would not already know assuming she has signed the VBAC consent each delivery. Maybe a discussion of the CNM's own personal concerns? I am not sure what else I could talk to this person about.

2 VBACs afterwards--easy 8-ish pounds.

Now 41w3d, 2-3 cm./70%.

I happened to see this chart in the door and reviewed, and felt obligated to put in my $0.02 to the CNM and have a face to face chat witht the patient.

What would you tell the patient? BTW, she said she's always late and her kids have always been OK.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
