I agree, Welch-Allen disposable plastic speculum with a light source, the difference in visualization of the entire vagina and not having to futz with an external light source is amazing.

It's hard to go back to using an external light source, as I do in the hospital occasionally after using these in my office for years.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
