Re: Induction protocolsFrom: Andrew Folley (agfolley@hotmail.com)Wed Mar 2 11:38:10 2005
I am looking for advice on induction protocols. Often times our level 3 hospitla with 10 labor rooms is swamped with 6-8 elective inductions and primips at 1 cim etc. many pats are admitted off the labor floor the night before and given cervidil and transferred to L and D in am. Any ideas to remedy this problem? Using oral cytotec? Limiiting # of elective inductions? Starting inductions at night??? No admission until 4 cim???? I am looking for some other ways to do things. Thanks Andrew

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
