Re: GEN: IUD and fibroidsFrom: Henry Gregor (henrygregor@yahoo.com)Tue Mar 1 12:58:05 2005
Anecdotal case of one recent similar patient within the last year....patient has done well with it. I did have a sono suggesting unremarkable uterine stripe, but not the SHG suggested in earlier response...a real palm-to-the-forehead "of course" on that point. (Another example of the great community this net list provides.) Hank "Garry E. Siegel, M.D." <garrys@mindspring.com> wrote: I have a patient with 10 week fiboids considering a Mirena. If her uterus isn't too big when it is sounded, any reason not to try it? Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
