This is perhaps the most absurd case I have read. Expectation analysis of depositing sperm in the mouth would not likely result in a pregnancy. The court should truly have looked at the fraud and deception and detrimental reliance of the "contract" - oral sex - and that paternity charges against him should not be allowed to go forth. The mother - MD needs a good psychiatric evaluation since she is exposing her child to potential for substantial emotional distress and reticule in the future.

This is when the judgment of Solomon should be allowed and not the strict letter of the law!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
