Re: Normal delivery and uterine rupture after c-sectionFrom: ravi prasad (rpthota@yahoo.com)Fri Feb 25 10:51:06 2005
Dear Doctor, I am a Gynaecologist working in a very busy Teritiary care hospital, and we have at an average 3 to 4 C sections every day. Our Caesrean rate is about 20%. All our patient are booked and under strict and regular Antenatal care. Generally we do not prefer giving a trail to a Post caesarian Pregnancy unles she is already in advance stage of Labour. Our Maternal Mortality is very minimal comparable to any Advanced country. If I have to manage u r case I will prefer to open her up do a proper repair of the rupture and Put her on suitable antiiotics and be comfortable. I dont want to stay in dark with a false sense of security that the rupture will close by it self. Thanking you. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
