Re: Breech birth conferenceFrom: Charlie Chambers (cchamber@gorge.net)Thu Feb 17 16:52:55 2005
I have to admit that some of the more enjoyable aspects of obstetrics were the more complicated deliveries, breech, cephalic/breech twins, forceps, etc. I felt like I had pretty reasonable training in residency. But given our current medicolegal climate, I have stopped quite a few of these procedures. Seems like a waste of considerable good training. ************************************************************************ **** Charlie Chambers Hood River, OR USA cchamber@alumni.rice.edu "...not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant-and not nearly so much fun." The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
