When? When we American OBs stop getting sued for acts of god, acts of patient stupidity or good acting by plaintiff attorneys. Your system may favor evidenced based medicine, but as far as I am concerned, our patients, on this side of the pond, are getting what they are asking for, voting for and paying for.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
