Professor Braun, Congratulations on your 25 weeks baby doing so well. May I ask two questions: (1) Is it common clinical practice in USA to exteriorise the uterus prior to delivery in very preterm deliveries, and was that a contributory reason to your "en caul" delivery. I am told it can help with the symmetry of a classical incision particularly if there is a congenital uterine abnormality ? (2) Did the patient have problems with a her bowels i.e. sustained constipation over several years, or a back injury ? Uterine denervation seems to cause growth problems on a persistent basis in the UK and may be one source of pre-eclampsia/IUGR ? Many thanks, Martin Quinn, Consultant (Attending), Manchester, UK

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
