Re: Recent CaseFrom: Braun, R. Daniel (rbraun@iupui.edu)Thu Jan 27 04:26:16 2005
That happens in the vast majority of babies that are colonized. Out of every 400 colonized mothers there is only one baby with a GBBS "infection", even though most are colonized. IMHO, research needs to be directed at What is wrong with that one baby, not with treating the other 399 who don't need it. Dan R. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
