Re: 32 week PROM Recent Herpes outbreak HelpFrom: Richard Chudacoff, MD (rchudacoff@mylinuxisp.com)Mon Jan 17 07:41:50 2005
Interesting cases you have. No current outbreak, I'd place her on prophylactic Valtrex, treat with antibiotics for a week and steroids for 48 ours. I'd like to get 48 hours of out her, but if cultures come back negative, then I'd wait until she tips her hand

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
