Welcome back, Hank. Surgery must have gone well. Surgery did go well. Thanks for your kind comments. Had a benign thyroid path report, and - to take my mind off any thryoid incisional discomfort - had a UPPP procedure to deal with my sleep apnea. (UPPP = uvulopalatopharyngoplasty...takes one's upper airway doorway and turns it into a Gothic arch of inspirational -bad pun intended- proportions.) Certainly takes one's mind off the other procedure, lol. Perhaps the most difficult part of the process is avoiding the term urethrovesicalpalatopharyngoplasty. Still can't speak, probably a blessing for my family and friends, but am enjoying being down to a dose of opiates that allows me to read a monitor and manipulate a keyboard. :-) Hank Hank Meet the all-new My Yahoo! – Try it today!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
