Midnight on Christmas Eve after much delay waiting for blood finally get into theatre with 6day post C/S sent from elsewhere with a distended abdomen. Took out the necrosing uterus, evacuated the retroperitoneal haematoma round the right ureter, and about three litres of blood stained fluid - fortunately no pus. But at 7 am I am back in with bleeding from the left uterine pedicle! Merry Christmas! Steve Raymond Oh yes, forgot she's HIV positive with a lymphocyte count of 1.7. CD4 not available over the holidays!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
