repeated cesarean section and medicolegal riskFrom: emilio porro (sanbonav@hotmail.com)Wed Dec 22 03:47:43 2004
I am curious how many cesareans (that means childrens)can be done after a first cesarean section without risk for mother and baby Probably there is the risk to be sued medicolegaly if You repeat a cesarean section without a clinical justification because You deny the possibility of the woman to have more than three or four children(important in USA where more than two marrieges are frequent) Yours faithfully Emilio Porro ObGyn.M.D. COMO-ITALY

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
