Sorry guys, I'm with Gail on this one. I have not had a c-sec but have had pelvic surgery with abdominal incision. Can't imagine leaving the hospital in less than 2 days. Actually, when I had the surgery (at the much younger and presumably more resiliant age of 21), I stayed in the hospital for almost a WEEK, and I did not have a newborn to tend to when I got home. More power to the women who actually WANT to leave quickly after a c-sec, but I'm not gonna push 'em out.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
