Anyhow -- I think if the patient says "I fell something" then I want a good breast surgeon to evaluate and follow rather than me or a PCP. Just as if the surgeon did a Pap and it was anything other than A-OK the surgeon would send to Gyn. Ok Joanne - that sounds reasonable. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
