Re: GYN: Cytotec for hysteroscopyFrom: RModugno@aol.comThu Oct 28 17:27:55 2004
In a message dated 10/28/2004 4:19:53 PM Eastern Daylight Time, garrys@mindspring.com writes: I am facing a hysteroscopy on a postmenopausal patient with atypical endometrial cells on pap, in whom I could not pass an instrument into the endometrium in the office. I don't even think that I can get laminaria in, either, or if in, that they'll stay in. Can anyone remind me how to use Cytotec in this situation? Thanks, Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
