Unusual ForcepsFrom: Braun, R. Daniel (rbraun@iupui.edu)Thu Oct 28 14:56:39 2004
In taking stock of our forceps, we discovered a pair of forceps that were labelled; "Extra Long Simpsons". That sort of got my attention. These look like a pair of Piper forceps that have been straightened out so that there is no curve on the shanks. Has anybody heard about or seen anything like this or do we have an extra strong resident or CSR Employee?? Dan R. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
