I agree - either poorly trained - or had some horrible complication and is therefore afraid of the OR- in which case she should admit it and not hide under the "too many hysts are done" line. I think once she recovers and realizes how much better she feels - that my friend will indeed make some sort of comment to the board of medicine becuase it really was inappropriate for her to not suggest that hyst was appropriate for my friend. As my friend is a PhD psychologist - she will most likely figure out a way to follow up! Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
