Interesting Insurance Suit

Here in Missoula, there are two hospitals, which are served by a single
radiology group of 12 physicians and a single anesthesia group of 28
physicians. About a year ago, both groups became dissatisfied with the
Blue Cross contracts and decided to stop participating. Needless to
say, this has caused quite a stir with patients because the Blue's are
the primary 3rd party payer in the state. Today, the Blue's announced a
law suit against the radiology group for having a "predatory monopoly".
I am sure a similar suit against the anesthesiology group is
forthcoming.
