I would guess you've already ruled this out, but I saw a new pt. the other day with a very similar complaint. She had had a vag hyst several years ago and some sort of cystocoele repair in 2001. When I put the speculum in to look, I saw 4 interrupted 3-0 Prolene sutures with 1" tails along one side of her vagina, near the cuff. Her hubby had been complaining of pain with intercourse too. Yikes!
